Shut Up Bobby V

After spending some time with my niece and nephew last night I rolled into my house around 8:45. Of course Comcast being a giant bag of suck, I had to unplug my brand new cable box and plug it back in to get to actually watch sports. So I put on the Celtics and watched till the end of the third quarter when the team was up three.

Then it was about nine so I flipped over to watch The Office. Which wasn’t on. So I flipped back to the Celtics who were on commercial and found myself watching the Sox vs. Yankees game on NESN.

Spring training is over a week from Tuesday and the team is set to open in Detroit on April 5th. I figured since I’ve already written off the season and really am bitter after last fall’s collapse I should try and open my mind a little and watch the game.

I watched the team down 4-0 come back and tie the game. I saw a great suicide squeeze that scored the tying run. Sure I didn’t really know any of the players but it was good baseball.

Anyways, the game was tied at four then NESN went to Bruins coverage when extra innings should have been played. Well apparently Joe Giardi said he didn’t want to play extra innings. His starting pitcher had left the team because his wife was in labor so Girardi was going patchwork.

So Bobby Valentine opens his big mouth because it’s all about Bobby, “I didn’t think that was very courteous.” He went on to say “They had plenty of pitching…Probably too long of a ride.”

Well not for nothing a two hour plus bus ride from Ft Myers when it’s already past ten at night. No thank you. If the roles were reversed Valentine would have done the same thing.

Further proof that I hate Bobby Valentine. Here’s hoping he’s out of here soon. Don’t like him. Won’t ever like him. Hate that the Sox hired him. He’s a media whore that wants all the attention on him. Maybe if you ever won anything, you could demand that spotlight, but you’re a loser. Shut your mouth till you win something, jackass.
