So I was out for drinks with my friend Stew on Tuesday night and she mentioned that she hadn’t really listened to sports radio since the last Patriots game. I had to give her reassurance that it was OK to go back. “They’re done talking football.”
Well I am right but what they’ve moved on to other things that suck. Not the hypothetical Bruins trades, those are fun. Talking about your soon to be 4th place Red Sox.
They’re talking a lot of Sox since they’re set to report this Sunday. That and Bobby Valentine gave that STUPID hour long interview with Bob Costas.
I told you from the word go that I HATED the team bringing him in. But that’s who Uncle Larry wanted. So much so that Puppet Ben was born as a result of the managerial search/hiring.
We’re going to have to listen to this Valentine jackassery all spring and listen to him make excuses all season about why they’re losing and in fourth place. Even better we get to listen to him be the PR, spin machine that I think he was hired for above everything else.
So like the headline says, this is going to suck. More importantly it hasn’t even started and it sucks already. Fucking Red Sox. This is really going to suck!
