Anyways, during the headlines they kept saying the Bruins were in Buffalo for their second of two road games against the Sabres. They would also mention how the Sabres were a point out of last place and one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference.
To me this screamed trap game. I mean anytime you’re playing a team with a bad record, regardless of the sport, you get scared. Lester on the hill for the Sox against some scrub from Kansas City, gimme win right? No, trap.
Well I heard Tuukka was first goalie off the ice at morning skate I knew Claude had made the decision to take this last place contender lightly. Fall right into the trap. They’re near the bottom we don’t even need to play our best guys.
Wrong Claude.
