Interesting thing happened on Thursday night. I noticed that Heidi Watney had become active on Facebook. She friended Rich from Toucher and Rich who I’m friends with and then friended Crash Clark who used to be on Toucher and Rich who I’m also friends with.
Why not be friends with Heidi Watney?
So I submitted the friend request and seconds later we were Facebook friends. Sent her a PM that she should probably friend JC since they see each other at Fenway so often. She replied back to me to “Tell all your friends to friend me.”
Seemed a little strange but then again, so is Facebook.
Her news feed starts going on Friday and she’s chiming in with Sox moves of the day like Bowden being sent down and Atchison brought up. Then it was you need to only say nice things or I’ll have to de-friend you.
Shortly after that I got a message from my buddy Jim who indicated that the Heidi Watney seemed to be a fake. Which was followed up shortly after that with, “yup”.
I guess when this was her profile picture, we should have known something was up:
So by the time I got home from work, the profile was deleted. Good job fake Heidi Watney, you fooled all of us.
