My Final Four stayed alive until I went to bed. When I woke up I saw the Florida State (above) had beat the Irish of Notre Dame who I had coming out of the Southwest region.
Oh well.
Here’s the thing with the March Madness brackets. No one has an idea as to what’s going to happen. Unless you go to Richmond did you really have them getting to the Sweet 16? How about Morehead State? The beat Louisville. The only way you’d pick Morehead State is if you’re a stoner who really got a laugh from the college name.
For the few of you that joined up on the blog’s Yahoo! group can see I picked THE Ohio State University to win the whole thing. Really so long as Duke loses, I’m happy. Once again the blog blew up this weekend with people doing Google searches of “Duke sucks” “I hate Duke” and my favorite “Fuck Duke”. The most interesting search? “Mike Krzyzewski rat”, yup that directs folks to my blog. But look, he really does look like a rat.
So tomorrow I’ll get back to some real sports and why I think the Bruins should fire Claude Julien. Stay tuned.
