Pats / Jets Part II

Let’s see if we can recap the last game.

No Wes Welker on the offensive side. The Pats using Edelman in his second NFL game and Joey Galloway as the #2 and #3 to compliment Moss. Well, Moss was double teamed with safety help all afternoon according to coach Belichick. Pretty easy for the Jets to go one-on-one with Edelman and Galloway. Add in Galloway’s inability to catch and the offense was held in check.

The Pats were also missing Jerod Mayo on the defensive side. I know he’s not going to make or break the defense but he certainly is part of the reason for the loss. But really if the team as constructed now gave up 16 points you’d be pretty confident that the Pats would win.

Well the Jets squeak out a close one at home thanks to the Pats piss poor red zone offense. But that was then.

Now the team is banging on all cylinders. The offense is putting up big numbers. Oh and Brady has his safety valve back in Welker. I look for the Pats to throw all over the Jets secondary and if this team goes up 10 early it’s going to be the end of the Jets. Belichick is pissed about that week two loss and how his team lost, he’ll be looking to run up the score on the Jets.

On the other side you have Rex Ryan who’s a blubbering fool. The blubbering wasn’t a fat joke but this guy leaves footprints in concrete. He is so fat he was baptized at Sea World. He’s not afraid of muggers, he’s afraid of poachers.

But seriously, he cried in front in front of his team after their loss to Jacksonville. Then tried to make light of it by bringing Kleenex to his next press conference. What’s done is done. After squeaking out the win again the Pats in week two, their Super Bowl, they went on to win two of their next seven games.

The Jets sit at 4-5 in third place in the division after the Miami win last night. The supposed franchise, or should I say Sanchize, quarterback has come crashing down to Earth. I’m looking for the Pats to destroy the Jets offense with a plethora of QB hits, sacks and picks. Picture the Tennessee game by Kerry Collins and Vince Young, but worse.

Look for a lot of this on Sunday

Pats are favored by 10.5 with an over under of 45. I think the Pats are going to crush that over by themselves and the defense is looking to pitch a shut out. Game time temp looks to be around 50 and no rain. I don’t think that plays a factor. The Pats are very angry and after last week they need to take it out on someone. You’ve awoken the beast NFL, watch out. First victim, the Jets. Pats roll 56-0.
