If the Celtics playoff hopes weren’t dire enough with KG riding the pine, they just got a lot worse. Yup, Leon Powe is out for the playoffs. This leaves the Celtics with Perkins, Big Baby and Scal for their big men. Did I mention that Scal hasn’t played a game in about two months after a concussion in February? Yeah the Celtics postseason looks like it just got even shorter.
If somehow the Celtics make it out of the first round, how on Earth will they match up with the Magic in the second round? Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard owns the paint pulling down 20+ rebounds on a regular basis as well as blocking tons of shots.
But let’s face it, you’re not really thinking Celtics tonight are you. Yeah, didn’t think so. The Bruins have a chance to close out the Canadiens tonight in Montreal. Yeah, the same Montreal that rioted when their team won last year in a game seven. Imagine what they’ll do when their team loses? Get the Bruins the heck out of Montreal ASAP.
