Well, the Northeast Division title anyways. With the Devils able to pull within a point of the East lead yesterday with a win, the Bruins stepped it up and pushed their lead to five games in the East. The Bruins are now four points back from a possible President’s Trophy with nine games left.

So what’s up next for the Bruins?
How about a week off. Yeah, no games this week until Saturday. How the heck does that happen. If it were two weeks from now I don’t think anyone would really care too much (Sox season opens two weeks from today) but while we’re waiting for the Sox to start, we need to Bruins and Celtics to occupy our attention. I know they can’t play at home (NCAA’s in Boston Thursday and Saturday) but at least a trip to New York this week? Nothing?
I’m hoping that the Bruins take this time to get healthy and practice. Get those lines clicking like they were earlier in the year and get those walking wounded back in the fold. Put Manny Fernandez in net for practice and build the teams confidence by lighting the lamp, a lot, against him.
Nine games to go and a match up against the Canadians slated (as the standings are now) for the first round. I’m thinking if the standing stay that way, revenge.
