So yesterday’s sick day wasn’t a joke. I’ve been battling whatever for a couple days, so last night I watched the first half of the Celtics game, and was sound asleep when Paul Pierce hit a game winning shot in the fourth quarter with about 20 seconds left. Celtics win 115-111. Jay gets the much needed rest to try and have a better day today.
The Celtics improved to 7-2 with KG in the lineup. They’re 16-4 in the last two years without KG. I’m not saying that the team could go deep in the playoffs without KG, just saying they’re treading water pretty well without him. If this was the playoffs KG would be playing but if the team can keep winning while he’s out, he can take his time rehabbing and come back at 100%.
That’s it for today. Welcome Mark Recchi to the Bruins. You can’t wear #8, maybe you wear #88.
