Thank God the Bruins and Celtics are giving us something to talk about. With football ending this prematurely we need something to distract us until the Sox start up spring training.
So this is what it feels like to be a Jets/Favre/Packers fan? Thank God I don’t plan on riding that train. Ugh. What a fucking loser Brett Favre is. Let’s see, I can make a calculated pass and get a completion or I could just throw it to whoever and see what happens. What a dolt. I have never in my life wished such ill things on an individual.
If this guy doesn’t retire it will be a travesty of epic proportions. Every off season we’re subjected to the “will he or won’t he” discussions. Well you know what, we’re all very tired of it. Retire. Retire now. Move down to Mississippi and be forgotten. See you in five years when they induct you into Canton then you can fade back into nonexistence.
Sure the Pats helped themselves with a win against the Bills, but they got no help from the Jets or Jacksonville. I guess the only thing that could be worse would be if I was a Cowboys fan. Christ, these guys had their destiny in their own hands and rolled over against the Eagles. Awful.
You knew when the Jets missed their extra point attempt that the game was going to be rough to watch. Then when the aforementioned assholeface Favre threw a pick and the Dolphins ran it in for a score you wanted to shut it off. But you didn’t did you? No, you kept watching. And watching and Favre threw yet another pick and you felt like you wanted to puke. Well, that’s what I felt. The first 11-5 team in 23 years not to make the playoffs. Horse shit.
I think I’m done watching football this season. Sure I may catch a couple playoff games and the Super Bowl, but more for the social aspect than actually giving a rat’s ass about the outcome. All I have to say is fear the Colts. They’re 10-2 against the division this season and are poised for another run. But then again, who cares?

Sadly, the Pats missed the palyoffs because the Dolphins decided to bust out the wildcat, for the first time, against the Pats…. And ludicrosity insued! (is that a word?) If not for that fluke of a game, justice would be served!
