15 Straight for the C’s

So last year the worst home loss the Celtics had was against the Utah Jazz. They were beat down at home 110-92. Heading into last night’s game, you have to imagine that game was in the back of their collective minds.

I’m not going to get into too many specifics because I only caught the fourth quarter of the game, but how awesome is Rajon Rondo? I know he’s still developing, but he’s developing into one of the best point guards in the league. 25 points last night, 14 in the fourth quarter. Nine rebounds and eight assists as well.

So this means the Celtics have a 23-2 record to start the season and are quickly separating themselves from the pack. Four more wins and they break the record for best start of a season. So that’s at Atlanta, home for the Bulls, Knicks, and Sixers. How great would it be for the C’s to win those games and just ride the momentum into a showdown in LA against the Lakers on Christmas.

Short and sweet today, like I said, I only watched a quarter. Back in full force tomorrow.
