Seriously, it started with so much promise. Dice-K throws no hit ball through six innings, the bullpen holds the lead, Papelbon gets the save. Awesome. With Beckett going Saturday you had to be thinking the Sox were in a great position.
Then they played the game and Beckett gave up eight fucking runs. What the fuck was Francona thinking? Seriously, where was Paul Byrd when Beckett gave up four, never mind eight. What the fuck is that bullshit?
Then the game continues, and continues, and we’re subjected to four fucking hours of Frank TV commercials, then five hours and twenty seven fucking minutes. Are you serious? Two East Coast teams and I’m going to bed at 1:45AM? That’s fucking bullshit and I don’t give a rat’s ass about Frank TV or fucking Tyler Perry or whatever fucking bullshit TBS wants to cram down my fucking throat.
So back to the game. Terry Francona decided that at 1:30AM it was time to end the game. That’s the only reason you’d bring in Mike Timlin. You couldn’t really think he’d work clean. He was 0-2 with a 9+ ERA, that’s not a typo or a made up stat. The Rays owned Timlin this year. Good thing Aardsma was sent home with his 4 2/3 scoreless innings against the Rays this year. Fucking ridiculous! No fucking roster spot should be taken up for past achievements. Release Timlin now!

Then came Sunday and the Patriots.
Look, I’m not going to get into it too much but here’s what I’m thinking. Matt Cassel’s eyes are too close to his nose and apparently that causes vision problems for him so he can’t see a wide open Ben Watson (who would’ve probably dropped the ball) and decides to try and dive in for a touchdown. Here’s a newsflash Matt. You’re not McNabb, Vick, or even Steve Young. You don’t have the wheels. Quit. Quit football, don’t even try baseball, and just take a spot selling used cars somewhere in Idaho. You suck, no one likes you, and you suck (did I say that already?).
Time for the Patriots to usher in the Gute.

No, not Steve Guttenberg, Matt Gutierrez. We all thought he was going to get the spot over Cassel before the season even started. Let’s see what he has.

Hopefully the Sox win this afternoon and the taste is gone from this weekend. That’s all we can ask at this point.
Nope! The misery continues….
Not even one Matt Casshole-face reference? Damn, I thought that was pretty creative, considering his performance…
Its over bro, Pats ain’t ready for prime-time! Get ready for a 6-10 record and all kinds of tough back-talkin!
I look at it like this, “hitting the reset button on your system of choice” We’re gonna bag out and let this season slide by. Alot like a Big Jeff fantasty Baseball team. You play the first 2 weeks, and then you wave the white flag, cus you know you have 0.0% chance of accomplishing anything!” So you hit reset and play the season again, only It’ll have to wait til next year for us.
Considering all the success our teams have had, … … I’m ok with that. Its tough medicine to swallow, but its ok. Thats Football! Thats what livin is!!! Check it out here…
