Does it really matter? I really doubt it. Tom Brady and Randy Moss didn’t even play a down. Something tells me that those two alone would have put up 21 points tonight.
What we did see was that Matt Cassel still sucks. One of four with a pick. Awful. This guy doesn’t have what it takes to be a QB in the NFL. All the hyping up we’ve heard, the bottom line is that this guy wasn’t even a starter in college. He’ll be bagging groceries before week one.
Kevin O’Connell showed that he had wheels. He also showed he’s not bad in the pocket either. Sure it was against the 3rd stringers of the Ravens, but if it weren’t for a tipped pass the Pats would’ve converted on the two point attempt and probably won the game.
LaMont Jordan looked good as well. This guy is 5′10″ 230lbs and was a force in the running game. Again it was mostly against the second and third stringers, but he was a bruiser. This guy should make the team as a goal line back. It’ll be interesting to see how the Pats juggle Maroney, Jordan, Morris, Evans, and Faulk. There’s also BenJarvus Green-Ellis who has one of the longest names ever.
How about Raymond Ventrone? This guy is listed as a safety but was playing both sides of the ball as well as special teams. This guy is so Belichickian.
It was good to see Belichick go for it on the two point conversion. Why the hell not? It’s the preseason. You really want to play OT and risk a possible injury? Screw that. Go for the win and if it doesn’t happen, oh well.
Finally it was good to see Stephen Gostkowski go out there and hit his three attempts. If last year’s Super Bowl showed us anything, it’s that we need this guy to be dependable this season. When coach calls his number, we need him to be money.
Next up for the Pats will be Jeff Garccsssssssssssia and the Buccaneers on Sunday night. Let me be the first to thank the NFL for fucking Pats fans again and having them play on a “school night.”

So any predictions of when We’re going to pickup Pennington and drop Cassel the bag of crap? I say Bill should be jumping to dump Cassel, he’s had how many years to adapt to the system and he still sucks? the project is over, time to pull the ejector seat cord.
You mean the NFL screwed the east coast pats fans, I think its great. the game will be over and done with by 9pm my time. I think its awesome!:)

I can’t beleive you even bothered to post a note on that game. It was clearly a worthless practice for the Pats, and nothing need be taken from this sham of a game. The very fact the they went for two, late in the game, shows me that “the Bill”, just wanted his guys off that field ASAP!
I hope to god that Brady, plays 3 snaps in preseason game 3, and thats all. Nothing else, no more. Go talk to Vrable for the next 3 hours. I don’t think we need to take that risk, especially with the obvious hole at backup QB!
