To say that this “saga” has been the most drawn out, over hyped, waste of everyone’s time and patience is an understatement to say the least. Every fucking day for the last month we’d have to sit through 15 minutes of Brett Favre news before we could get to real sports highlights.
The news was announced late last night that Favre was traded to the NY Jets in exchange for what’s believed to be a fourth round pick. The pick is also believed to have escalators depending on the Jets’ record.
Good.
Welcome to the AFC East. Get ready for two ass kickings this year at the hands of the Patriots defense. Apparently you hadn’t heard that the Patriots loath the Mangina and everything Jets related. Richard Seymour is going to fuck you up! September 14th is a date you should circle on your calendar as it could be the last football game you play. Ever.
Don’t believe me? Just ask Chad Pennington as you pass him in the hall. You’ll be on the way to the locker room, he’ll be on the way to the unemployment line.
Thank God this bullshit is finally over but I’m sure we’ll have to hear stories for the next week and a half about these guys.

Well at least we know the story should end soon. Here’s hoping that Favre is caught with an 8-Ball of coke and three hookers in a Jersey motel room. Maybe then the media will stop kissing this guy’s ass.
So the big question is, will the Madden cover be changed? The Jets are in for a shit storm this year, the Madden Jinx will come into play this year somehow…it always does.
I won’t be surprised to see the Pats beat on Farve so hard that they are the team that ends his playing days. I can’t wait for both of these games now!!!!
