Seriously how psyched are you that football is back? I’m not talking about this bullshit Brett Favre stuff that the National Media is cramming down our throats. I’m talking about local football. Your New England Patriots.
We won’t rehash too much of what happened last year because the National Media is already talking plenty about it. Hitting us with impressive stats like “six out of the seven last Super Bowl runners-up didn’t make the payoffs the next year.” Did any of those teams have Tom Brady as their quarterback? I didn’t fucking think so.
To say that this team is hungry I think is an understatement. I feel sorry for anyone that plays the Pats this year. They’re going to hit harder, play tougher and take pride in embarrassing the opponent. Should anyone cry about it, the opponent can thank the likes of ESPN and Mercury Morris.
For reference sake, Vegas still has the Pats as the favorite to win the Super Bowl. Also they’re rated #1 in the pre-season Power Rankings. Take that ESPN.
And since there really isn’t too much fodder from one day of camp, I give you a this:

I’m so pumped to see how this years team is going to look like. I’m hoping Maroney takes it to the next level, having a health Morris will really help with that. Getting a health Dave Thomas to play along with Watson in Double TE formations will be awesome. I hope Chad Jackson can finally show why he was selected in the 2nd round.
Speaking of WR, Stalworth is already injured in camp with the Browns.
Mayo is already signed and the defense should be a lot faster. I didn’t know that Dom Capers is the secondary coach now! I’m so pumped for the season!
