What’s That Smell?
It smells like a diaper filled with Indian food.

Nope just the Red Sox starting shortstop Julio Lugo.
There’s a point in which the team needs to just cut their losses. The Sox signed Lugo for his bat. Yup, coming off a career low .219 average with the Dodgers he was brought in to help the line up and solidify the lead off spot with that impressive batting average.
The Nation was told by the Sox Spin Doctors that they shouldn’t worry about the fact that he had 16 errors in the field. Well 16 at short, they didn’t want to tell us about the other two at second and his error when playing third. Remember we just had witnessed an incredible season in the field by one Alex Gonzalez. But Lugo has never had a good season in field. Sure they weren’t all at short but wherever teams played him, he couldn’t field the ball. From the year 2000 he’s had the following errors, 17, 22, 8, 20, 26, 24, 19, and 19 last year with the Sox.
The only year he didn’t have double digit errors was in 2002 when he only played in 84 games for the Astros. So even in the year he had singe digit errors he still averaged an error every ten games.
The reason I bring all this up is because yesterday the team sent Jed Lowrie back to the minors to activate Alex Cora. I understand that having Lowrie in Pawtucket getting at bats everyday is better than riding the pine, but why not release Lugo and let Lowrie get those AB’s in Boston?
Remember the last time Francona gave the keys to a rookie in the field?

That’s right, he won rookie of the year and batted over .300. I think that Lowrie could be the next Pedroia if they just gave him a shot.
It’s pretty clear that it’ll happen next year but with 11 errors already in the field this year, can’t we just cut the ties with Lugo now? I’d say trade him, or I’d call WEEI and suggest we trade him for Jake Peavey, but here in reality no one would take on the $9 Million he’s owed. The team should just put him on waivers and get Lowrie in here before it’s too late.

Lets face it… Lugo ain’t goin nowhere! We are unfortunatley stuck with him for, as Bill Slowski says,”the duration”! Lowrie isn’t the answer yet either. Let’s NOT forget, let us NOT forget dude, (that bringing in rodents, um, under, for domestic purposes) no, the few appearences Pedroia made back in 06. Before we went back to tucket to master his skillz. Only to come back the next year and tear the whole league apart.
But enough about the sox. I’ll start paying more attention after the Playoffs are over.
Will the REAL Celtics please stand up?! What the hell is going on here?! Why have the C’s changed their game? …DOC!
I love ya Doc, but why have you changed the formula that got you 66 reg season wins? If that fuckin alien Cassel takes one more STUPID shot in crunch time and/or gets more mins than Eddie “don’t leave the” House, well, I don’t know what I’ll do, but I know I won’t like it. No sir, I didn’t like it!(thank you Ren and Stimpy) You Idiot!
I like PJ Brown, for 5 mins a game. I like Alien, for 5 mins a game. But why not Posey and Poe? They got us here. I know that there has been a massive difference in fouls called, the heavy side toward the Celts.(research that for me Jay, fouls called for, and against the c’s in the playoffs) I bet its rediculously one-sided! any takers…? And because of those fouls subs must be put it. But who, and for how long is my beef with Doc.
Nevermind, I did the research. 232/306 fouls called for/against your Boston Celtics. Thats before tonights game. A bit lopsided, no? Tim Donahey(sp? ok, that cheating fuck ref) lives on!
Surprisingly also, is the fact that mins per game, per player is almost exactly the same as it was in the reg season, which leads me to beleive that I have no idea what the hell i’m talking about. ;^)
Even the offensive production is almost identical! So what the hell is going on? I’m a bit disturbed! Even the steals per and blocks per game are the same. Assists per game is IDENTICAL to the reg season! The only real difference is turnovers. But even that is minimal.
SO WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!!!
Very simple my friends. The Celtics are complacent and NOT stepping it up in the tourney! I thought for sure that drubbing, in Atlanta of all places, would snap these vets into shape. But apparently not. And if they don’t smahtin up, and soon, they are gonna find they’re 100 million dollah asses on the golf course with
D-wayne Wade! What is it Chuck?! Yes Chuck! Im gonna go upchuck!
-ShShShShake It the Fuck up Celts!

And the trend continues… dominate at home, get dominated and lose on the road. As long as they(so called playas) continue on this pace we’re cool. You cool wit dat? hell yeah I am! Playah! FUCK THAT!!! If the Celts win every game at home they will win it all! But this is BULLSHIT!!!
OK, so I and someone else I know predicted it in 6. But this sucks! AND the sox lost!
