Sorry for the late update today but I just couldn’t get it going. After last night’s game I really wasn’t too inspired to write anything.
Since last weekend I’ve been complaining about the Sox complete lack of offense and last night was no different. I understand injuries and slumps, but with a $100 Million payroll, you’d think that would buy you some hits.
So, last night’s game on NESN featured a new center field camera. I like it a lot better than the traditional because with the head on shot you’re able to see the pitches that much better. On the other hand, NESN needs to get a little quicker with the camera switch button once the ball is in play.
Now I know I ranted about it the other day, but I’m going to say it again. Tell Jordan’s Furniture to leave me the fuck alone. I don’t care if you extend the offer till game 3 of the World Series, I’m not buying your overpriced fucking furniture and all the “Jerry Remy president of Red Sox Nation” bullshit isn’t going to change that.
So on to bigger and better things. We hope.
The Celtics have a chance to close out the series with the Hawks and if they come out like they did in game five, there shouldn’t be a problem. Of course that’s assuming that the Atlanta chicanary is done with.
One guy I feel for on the team is the great Scal. Here’s a guy that got litle to know minutes during the season, unless it was a blowout. Along comes PJ Brown and Scal basically doesn’t get to play at all anymore. Don’t get me wrong I think PJ’s doing a good job with his minutes and is a decent defender, but can’t you get token a few minutes in the post season?

Bottom line, after a great Boston sports weekend a few weeks ago we had a really shitty one last weekend. Here’s hoping the Celts close out Atlanta and also hoping that the Red Sox can maybe score a few runs a beat the Rays.
