66-16
I know you thought Sox/Yanks recap was on the docket today, but a 15-9 thumping tends to shy me away from the Sox. Should you need a good Sox read, check this out in The NY Post.
So we’ll talk about the Celtics and their .805 winning percentage and the third best ever record for the C’s. They haven’t had a record as good as this since 1986, remember what happened that year?
I mean, how good is life when you remember pretty much every loss your team had in a given season? I recall the first one against Orlando and the most recent against Washington. But what a great run this team had this season.

We all had high hopes heading into the season but I don’t think that anyone thought it would be this sweet. Coming into the season ESPN and pretty much all media outlets were spoon feeding us the fact that the Celts were improved but would have a hard time with the likes of Detroit (2-1), Miami (4-0), Cleveland (2-2), and Gilbert Arenas said the Wizards (1-3).
Can you honestly tell me that the Celtics would lose a seven game series to any one of those teams? (well obviously not Miami as they surprised everyone and sucked big time, traded Shaq, and played NBADL-ers for pretty much the last quarter of the season).
The C’s could honestly win their first round match-up with their bench starting. I don’t think that’s a stretch either. Big Baby, Powe, James Posey, Tony Allen, and Cassell I think could take out the Hawks. That’s just me. On a related note, how awesome was Leon this year? Steve-O knows what I’m talking about. Leon played out of his mind (27-11 Wednesday). Let’s make sure the C’s bring this guy back regardless of cost.
We should be seeing a lot of Gino over the next month or two.
Now the bad news. Having the best record in the regular season means that pretty much every game is on a national stage. Starting with a Sunday Night at 8:30 on TNT which is fine if you don’t have work Monday (Patriots Day) but sucks for those that have work and those that are going into the early Sox game Monday. Wednesday is 8PM on TNT, Saturday night on ESPN 8PM, and closing out Monday at 8PM on TNT. Four games in a eight days? What the fuck?
Oh well, at least the team will be rested meaning everyone should stay healthy and prep to tear through the East on route to the Finals.

I def know what youre talking about, Leon needs to get his contract renogotiated now if the C’s were smart. Another year like this next year and he’ll command some mucho dollars.
Ill be at the game Sunday night, and plan on seeing a lot fo Gino.
In Detroit they do the Sheed, here in Beantown we do the GINO!

Welcome to my bandwagon. Help yourself to some food and drink. I drive this bus, so I make the rules…
DaGuy’s Bandwagon Rules!…
1. No Spinney’s, aka; puking on, in, or around the gereral area of my bandwagon.
2. NO SPINNEY’S!! aka; not showing up on time, making the whole wagon wait, or just being a pain-in-the-ass in general!
3. Play the Game! If someone passes you an empty or some trash, pass it on to the next closest person to the trash bag, and deposit the excrement as desired.
4. If you’re new to this particular bandwagon(because there have been more than a few in the last 8 years) Keep quiet until spoken to, by an elder bandwagoneer! ie; See the Brando Rule!
5. If you’re not bouzing, and causing a raukus, get the hell off my bandwagon! You obviously are no fun at all!
5a. The Brando Rule; … You talk too much/make too much noise and/or are too proud to give in. Or are much better looking then the rest of us. (mostly the latter) I love that kid!
All aboard DaGuy’s Big ole Celtics Bandwagon! Building dreams since 7/31/07.

It’s amazing the Band Wagon rules seem based on events at my bachelor party.
