So for reference sake I was very disappointed that the Sox didn’t wear their green uniforms yesterday. Maybe that’s why they lost? I say either that or awful pitching. You decide.
So having drank a few too many adult beverages yesterday I was sound asleep by the time the Celtics tipped off with the Spurs. But going into the game I was worried. No Ray Allen again, and this is as tough as the schedule gets for the C’s.
What did the C’s proceed to do? Oh that’s right, beat San Antonio for the second time this season and third straight overall dating back to St Patty’s Day last year. Sam Cassell was welcomed into the fold with a huge 3 late in the game and the C’s held on for the win.

Now the Celtics face the Rockets tonight in a huge game. T-Mac and the Rockets have won 22 straight games and they’ve done this without their big man Yao. Adding insult to injury (no pun intended) the Celtics will be without Ray Allen again.
So what’s my prediction?
I say that the Celtics are going to snap the streak. Yesterday I was telling our boy Matty that they’d win one of two between the Rockets and Spurs but with the team riding high off of stealing a win in San Antonio I think the team rides that momentum to a victory. Even with the back to back, I just don’t think that the Rockets have the answer to KG.
The bottom line is that the streak would’ve been snapped on Sunday if the Lakers had Gasol in the game, so it’s really a matter of when not if the streak gets snapped. Being the most hated sports city in America the Celtics will just add to Boston’s reputation by killing the Rockets streak at 22.
Well, let me start by saying, big mistake missing that game last night! It was a back and forth oldskool brawl of epic preportions! When Delante cassell hit that three I’m pretty sure I woke up half the building with my uh “enthusiasm”. And the defense held up, no, held up is too weak, dominated the last 1:30 of the 4th to seal the win! BUT!!! …… Thats over now, time to strap em on. There is more work to be done!
We welcome the next victim! The Yaoless Houston Rockets. And much like the Reading Rockets, the Challenger Space Shuttle and a pocket rocket with low batteries, they will shit the bed half way through the mission! (can I say that on the inernet?) The game starts in 30 mins, and the streak ends in 140 mins(or so). I am firmly on the bandwagon. Having been there since July 31st(KG and Eric Gagne came to Boston) I have my ass solidly planted in the best seat on the bus. The driver’s seat. So if anyone wants to come aboard my bandwagon, all you need is faith, passion, pride, confidence and $1.50 fare!
