With the exception of Big Jeff, I don’t know anyone excited about the fact that NBC will become the New England Broadcasting Network for the next couple of months. Thanks to the incredible awesomeness that is the NFL flex schedule NBC will be taking the rights to every Pats game from now until they lose, which will likely be next summer in the pre-season. The only exception to this is the Monday night game on ESPN on the 25th against the Eagles. I loathe this system. Because we have the best football team, possibly of all time, we are bleary eyed from the beginning of November till the end of the season?!? Stupid, stupid, stupid! Take your ad revenue, your John Mellancamp commercials, roll them up in a nice little ball, and shove it up your ass.
Now on to the game… Satan Bill Belichick and the Evil Patriots roll into Buffalo for what looks like an easy win. The Bills have a pretty decent quarterback, who they’ve elected to have ride the pine. JP Limpwrist is a joke. Coming off weeks in which he beat a pretty bad Bengals team, he managed a whopping 157 yards against the Dolphins, yes the same Dolphins Brady threw 4 touchdowns against in the first half of a game. The same Dolphins that had such a depleted secondary that Tom had to throw late in the 4th quarter against because their front seven were so “stacked”.
The Pats have been getting praise from some in the media, but trashed by others saying that they have a flawed ground attack and won’t be able to play ball with the Colts and Steelers. Are you kidding me? We destroyed the Browns who managed to almost knock off Pittsburgh and you’re telling me they’re going to be a test. I THINK NOT! And the Colts, are you serious? We proved we could be the Colts, in their stadium, and now they’re losing players faster than I’m losing my hair and they’re going to come to Foxboro, in January and topple the Pats? I don’t think so. I think we’ll see plenty of the Peyton Manning face.
Prediction this week, Pats 42 Bills 10. Brady goes for 4 scores, in the first half. Maroney rushes for a 5th score as they burn clock in the third and pretty sure that the defense will be running back at least one pick of JP Limpwrist. Who knows 42 may be an understatement.

Jay, you will be glad to hear that it is an NFL rule that no team is allowed to have more than 6 prime time games which includes NBC and ESPN. With the change of the Bills/Pats game and their remaining schedule there will be no more flex allowed for the Pats. That doesn’t mean that FOX or CBS won’t move the game to the late time slot though. I do have to say that I love the fact that its prime time so I don’t have to go to the sports bar to spend all my money watching standard def on a projector. I’d much rather get hammered and watch the pats in 5.1 surround sound in crystal clear HD. I like your predction, thats what I’d guess. Go Pats!!!!
Yeah Jeff! Turn that sheeeat up!
I’m sure the tackles and smashing helmets will sound great in surround.
Oh, and Tom Brady is hot.
We all thank Jeff for checking in,… especially cus Jay called him out. But I have to say, and in a way I hate to do it… But Jason Lizotte is right on! Its true, the pats are the best team in the NFL in 20 years. The offense is fun to watch. The defense is great. Special teams…. Outstanding! But where Jay is wrong, is the national broadcast aspect. The nation needs to watch this team play, and hear the players talk. So that the fraud/jealous/haters in the media will be drowned out by the sea of “holy-shit-they-are-good”ers, aka football fans, who will wake up to the call of reality and see what Bill and Scott have done here. With the salary cap, with the draft picks(including the 49ers pick) with trades(ummm Randy Moss=4th round pick)…. This Team is not just built for today, they have plans for next year, and for years to come. Get ready haters, you ain’t gonna like this!….. more to come!
